Different kind of Gospel

The other night, after we found out about Lucas needing a Bone Marrow Transplant, Erin and I watched this, somehow it came across our lives. Speaking strictly for myself I really admired Kris Kristofferson as a songrwriter, most of you know him from his most famous song, Bobby McGee. I had heard “Why Me Lord” a long time ago, but I never heard it like I heard this one. We cried, we sat on the couch and had our 1 beer we allow ourselves after Lucas had his meds and no fever, and we watched this and we cried and held hands. In the dark valleys we found closeness with Christ through this personal story he told years ago, and by this music and we wanted to share this with you this Sunday morning.
