That’s why we Pray

Good morning - Just a quick note to let everyone know Lucas Bear neutrophil counts have started to recover. I was trying to compare it to a Marvel character that comes out of the ashes with strength. Erin and I have used the imagery of the Phoenix.

Neat story, we both prayed at the same church and met the same homeless person the day before. Lucas and the kids always make us stop and give homeless bags to homeless people when we are back home. So we need their prayers too. Once of them said to us “God Bless you this year”.

Lots of things have to happen for Lucas to be released, including nutrition. So our prayer now is for him to be able to eat and for his hunger to return. Everything tastes different to him due to the chemo and reset that his body has undergone.
