Update - More Good news !!

** Update ** 4/20 We got results from engraftment and they are 99% Dylan’s cells. Any number slightly below 100% is required to be posted as 99%, the doctors are happy with these results. The FLT3 Genetic Mutation test also came through NEGATIVE, which is great.

• What are next steps ?

  • Lucas will have his broviac line taken out in the next week

  • Once it is out, he will start an inhibitor called Gilteritinib that will keep the FLT3 mutation in check for the next year or two, he will be closely monitored for any neurological symptoms or rash, etc.

  • Soft target for returning to Austin is Mid-June, there will be 4 month tests run in June

  • Lucas will continue to live in Philly until mid June

  • Lucas is slowly getting off of some of the prescription meds as his counts improve and we get farther away from transplant

Ok guys, we were waiting to blog about this, but just heard back that Lucas MRD is NEGATIVE , meaning there was no residual leukemia in his bone marrow. His spinal fluid is clear, and the pressure was 17 (normal). His aspirate was also negative for Marrow.

We are waiting on 2 more results , FLT3 Genetic Mutation and the Engraftment Study. So please keep praying for those.
